Among the smaller vehicles released in 1985 was the Armadillo mini-tank. It’s a fairly simple, but cool weapon. This neat little machine is armed with quad-machine guns in a rotating turret. One Joes operates the turret and drives, while two more guys ride on foot pegs on the back. It’s molded in realistic colors, like other GI Joe accessories from 1985, and has rolling wheels (duh!). There’s not much else to say about the Armadillo. A second version of the Armadillo was released in 1989 as part of the Slaughter’s Marauders. The original is the better of the two, worth acquiring at a good price.
